Answer
Just as Muslims, Hindi, Buddhists, and Shintoists have their own belief systems, so does Judaism. Christians and Jews share a common history, yet the Jew stubbornly insists that there is only One God. The common point in history is the belief in an Anointed One. The word is Messiah, and the Christians maintain that Jesus is this Messiah.
Judaism has read the Old Testament (Tenakh) and knows that there are over 450 prophecies about Messiah. Judaism believes that there have been over 100 Messiahs throughout her history, beginning with Noah (Genesis 5:29). Jews believe that Jesus did not fulfill all the prophecies, therefore he could not be THE Messiah.
There is also the issue of Christians claiming that Jesus is God. While Trinitarianism is a cornerstone of Christian faith, to the Jew it looks like paganism. Judaism stubbornly maintains that there is only One God, HIS Name is JHVH, and there is no other. Therefore, Jesus is not named by this name, so he cannot be God.
These are some of the reasons that Jews do not believe in Jesus as God.
