This is a display of dominance. The one who eventually gives up and lies down on his back with eyes diverted has submitted to the other. The "humping" ritual between the males is a friendly "fight" if you will over who is boss!! There is nothing sexual with this at all, and there is no such thing as homosexual dogs either. No worries!

∙ 12y agoThis has nothing to do with sex but a lot to do with proving which is playing and over-excitement. It is not likely a dog will do it for dominance, but humping due to not being able to express himself in any other way. Humping behaviour can be trained out of a dog if this behaviour is not wanted.
