Why do adults have kids?

Many couples have children because of the love they have for one another and they want to have a family together. They also want to share the love they have with one another with a child that is of both of their making. Having a family is one of the greatest joys in life, we as humans crave companionship and hate being alone. Children show us things through their eyes like no other.

Many people have children simply because they had unprotected sex.

Hmm...

As for myself.

I had children because I so much adore children.

I suppose I was not older than 10-11 years old when I at first actually wanted a baby myself.

At age 22 I had "my" first baby and it is remembered as the happiest moment of my life.

Later on I had more children and the experience was the same. Filled with joy and happiness.

As for me, I do not think anything comes close to the affection between a parent and his/her child.

As for our race.

It is important to have babies to bring new generations to our race.

As for earth and other wildlife.

the human race has taken over totally. We dominate the world and kill off species every day only to sustain our own needs. Wildlife in general would be much better off without us.

I still do not regret having had children though.
