Cats are nocternal and sleep most of the day and race around at night. Usually your pet will play during the day and then have a nap. They feel loved and confident so when you come over to them and speak to them they know more of what you're saying than humans give them credit for. They know you love them and it's their way of showing affection. My cat talks back to me by chirping, rubbing against my arm or leg and rolling her eyes and yes, I get the occasion yawn.
Cats meow when you sneeze because they're surprised. sneezing is an action that usually cats don't detect beforehand from your behavior, it's a sudden act (unless you've been trying to make yourself sneeze). So naturally they put their guard up instantly because they aren't sure what you're doing. Some guarding-up behavior include meowing to communicate, scratching and jump off your lap, to some other odd behaviors (like running and hiding).
Cats can talk?
No. Not in our language, or any language at that. When cats do make a funny meow, or noise it just us interprting it into what we think is words. Cats do have ways of telling is what they what, or certain meows that mean things. Just not in the English language.
My cat approaches me for affection, he will put his paw on me at attract it. I respond by talking to him and he yawns with his eyes half closed. If I stop he walks in front of me or gently paws me again. I will talk to him again and yet again he yawns. He is very attached to me and is like my little shadow.
I believe that this is a sign of affection but there are other probably other reasons for yawning, as I have read on one site "In your face" yawning may be a "give me some space" yawn. I guess it depends on the situation at the time of the yawn. I hope this helps
Cays tilt their heads when you talk to them because sometimes they do not understand you. They get confused.
They are simply reacting to you. They may be sleepy, but some cats have sort of a nervous yawn that they do that has nothing to do with sleepiness.
they're sleepy Cats normally sleep 20 out of 24 hours a day.
No she cant learn yawn.... howerver! She can learn TM44 Rest and TM82 Sleep Talk.
The exact reason why any animal (including humans) yawns has never been precisely determined, but many scientists think it has something to do with filling more of the lungs by taking a larger breath, in order to absorb more oxygen into the bloodstream when the body is tired (or vice versa to clear out more of the waste carbon dioxide and other unnecessary gases, so it then has more room to absorb oxygen from).
No. They yawn for the same reasons we do.
they yawn because when you yawn it passes on to other people . so you yawn then someone's right next to you then i think they inhale then they start to yawn ?
When cats yawn they inhale a large amount of oxygen.
No many animal species also yawn, like cats, etc.
They probably just woke up. People yawn when they wake up too.
