My dogs will chew on the bones until the disappear, especially raw-hides.A dog gnaws on a bone. Bones help the dog's teeth not grow so fast. In other words, it makes a dogs teeth shorter. Another thing is that dogs chew on a bone because they still scent the smell of what was on the bone before it was bare. If they like the scent, they chew away! Giving a dog a bone is good because if they crack it open, they can eat all the kinds of nutrients in side. There are MANY things a dog can do with a bone!!
