∙ 9y agoThere could be several reasons a dog's stomach would get big and hard. One common reason could be the dog has worms. Treat the dog for worms and if that is not the issue seek medical attention for the animals.

∙ 12y agoYou should have your dog evaluated by your veterinarian - this could be anything from your dog ate too fast and is now sick to her stomach from bolting her food to your dog having stomach cancer (rare, but possible). Regardless of the cause, this is not normal or healthy behavior and should be investigated to protect your dog's health.

Your dog might have gas, upset stomach or maybe even arthrisis. You really never know. You should take your dog to the vet to at least be checked out, your dog is in obivious pain.
