As to the above, ummm, no. Dogs will naturally seek out grass and other plant substances to chew and ingest. Just as when humans consume roughage to help their digestive systems, so do dogs. The plant material helps them flush out anything that might be un-digestible. It's totally normal and natural. Caution should be taken, however, to make sure the dog only eats clean grass. Grass eaten on walks could be contaminated with pesticides, automotive emissions, and worse.
