The ice cube is now in an environment that is above 32 degrees Fahrenheit and so it melts. Ice is frozen water and water is thawed ice. Water is made from 2 parts hydrogen and 1 part oxygen, when it is put into a freezing environment the molecules get closer together making what was once liquid into a solid, put the ice into a warm environment and the molecules get further apart turning it back into a liquid, put the water into a hot environment and the molecules get further apart making steam, cool the steam and it turns back into water.
