Why do insurance companies ask if any other resident in your household has a drivers license? In: Auto Insurance |

Insurance and Additional Drivers
This is done to let them know how many people on average might be driving. Also to know if someone suspended is living there. My policy listed myself as a 70% driver and other members living with me to each be driving 10% even though they held their own policy. This helps protect everyone in the case that there is an accident with a household member driving instead of the policy holder.
