Why do men stay in a loveless marriage?

The odd thing is there is more to men (and women) than meets the eye, and it isn't always the fact they don't love their wives or husbands, but they go through that blasted male menopause (women can go strange around this time in their lives as well) and have affairs. Usually 38 - 40 is the magic number. You're not quite all that old, but you certainly aren't young anymore. If we are all honest we will have to admit that sometimes we try to recapture our youth in different ways. I have no doubt that many husbands still love their wives, but, they have to prove to themselves that younger women are still attractive to them, and let's face it and be honest ... many women like the attention of a younger man at times. Sometimes it's just taken as a compliment and other times it leads to an affair. I don't know why you stay married, but I stay married, even though I really don't feel like it because I made a promise, and I won't break it until I'm sure my wife and I have reached a mature decision as to whether or not our relationship is valid, or edifying to our relationship with our son, who is mercifully too young to understand. Halt the problem before it starts, spend TIME with each other if possible, accept the winds of fate if not. By the way, I wrote that last bit, and I'm 23 yrs old, living in the UK. Forget that male menopause stuff, We've managed all the emotional bollocks possible in the last three years. Love your Children!!!!!!!!!
