∙ 10y agoBecause that is life. When humans have body odor, it means that bacteria is building up in your pores. Sweat and heat help the bacteria grow. So take a shower every other day, and wear a non-chemical deodorant that you can get at nearly any pharmacy or beauty products store.
If you mean why things in general have odors, it is because things give off very small amounts of chemicals that your scent receptors can detect. These chemicals float into the air and you inhale them. When the chemicals register on the foul odor receptors, you smell an offensive odor.
