Why do parents love the youngest sibling the most?

As a mother of 3 beautiful angels i can say that i have no preferance to either of my children. yes, i treat them different because i love them in different ways but my love is still indefinite towards them.

Parents don't love more a child than an other. Parents may show more affection to the young one because there young and they need that affection. Parents sometimes provoke a sibling rivalry because of this.

Parents love there children equally but the affection that they show to a 2 year old don't do the same to a 7 year old, it's different but in same amount.

It might be because if you are 13 and you have a 6month old sibling, your parents will probably think that you can take care of yourself and there is a younger kid so they need to take more care of the younger one and be more cautious like if you got lost in a store once or got outside and almost ran away as a little kid, then your parents wouldn't want that to happen with the other kid, too. So they are a lot more cautious with the younger ones. It's not that they have chosen favorites. It's the same with me. I'm the oldest and I once was lost in the mall and my parents were really worried so they don't want it to happen again because they won't be taking any chances about being unfortunate and losing their child in a mall or their child being stolen or something like that. I think mb because the mother thinks of the child still as a baby and the other child older ( obviously ) and more mature and should be able to handle things better as for the younger child a baby how cant protect themselves. Sooo Mum is there to protect them from harms way even if that is You!!! But still she loves all of ye equally even if she spoils the young child remember you were young too soo you were prob spoilt too! Sometimes you might not be the favorite bot your grandparents,aunty or uncle or any relation might like you more than your younger brother or sister! So try to be understanding even if they get everything they want but thing you might get away with murder in some1 elses house eg. auntie's
