They will have you think that there is something wrong with you but its the N that has the problem!! answerActually the N starts the devaluation process from the very beginning. Everything he says and does is a fabrication designed to reel you in. Where others look for compatibility and a give in take in relatinships, an N is out for blood, looking for vulnerabilites and weaknesses inthe other that he can exploit.

∙ 13y agoYes.. They can be begging you to be with then one minute then when something 'better' in their eyes comes along that offers more supply - they drop you like a hot cake. I constantly pushed my ex N partner away and stopped supplying him and just ignored him in the end... It was horrific... He made an absolute mess of my life... I knew I had to get away from him and regain my sanity... One minute he was begging for me then the next he was in bed with another woman... If he can't get anymore supply from you and you make this highly obvious to him, he will go away and leave you alone.

∙ 12y agoYes. They will return for many years, to torture the devalued, if they can, especially if the narcissist is a psychopath. My ex-narcissist expressed it himself very well. He just said, "I am a very evil person, and I enjoy making people suffer."
Basically he will return if he thinks he can get anything out of you...money, sex, or a place to stay, for himself or his new girlfriend. And narcissists may alternate between vaulation and devaluation over and over, especially with people who cannot get away from him, such as blood relatives. If the person is currently useful to the narcissist, he will be valued. Once the narcissist is done, or if the person criticizes or tells the narcissist "no", they are devalued all over again.
