Well they should sleep all most all the time because when the baby is born it is so tired from coming out of the mother. If it doesn't sleep it probably have a problem i would ask the babie's or babies' docter that Because they will check on them and see how they are doing since birth.
Check for wet diapers. Is Baby hungry. Is Baby gassy. If Baby is spitting up, colicky or feverish, has diarrhea or constipated. Call and talk to your pediatricians nurse and she will advise you and/or have you bring Baby to the Dr's office.
