Why do people believe God is real?

God isn't real, he can't be. There is no proof of the existence of any god, and there never will be. To say god exists is like claiming that your pet rock's favorite show is "Friends". It's based on absolutely no knowledge or logic, and impossible to really completely prove wrong. It's impossible to prove wrong, but any attempt for a theist to claim god does exist is logically flawed, thus not true. So in other words maybe it's possible, just like a rock having a favorite tv show is maybe possible, but it isn't as far as we know.

God is real because he is and always has been! That's hard for us to comprehend in our limited minds, but he is real and made everything, including us! He loves us and wants us to love Him, that's why he lets us choose to do good (obey Him) or to do evil and wrong! If he didn't give us a choice, what kind of love would that be? That would be like him making a bunch of robots with no choice but to do what He wants! He doesn't want that; He wants us to choose to love and obey Him! That's why there is evil and bad in the world. People have chosen NOT to love and obey God! The only way to overcome that now is to choose to beleive that God is God and that He loves us and sent His son, Jesus, to come and die on a cross a long time ago to take away the bad things we as humans chose (our sin)! If we accept Jesus and believe in Him we can be right with God and He can help us be good and someday when our bodies die we get to be in perfect heaven with Him! You just have to ask Him to come into your life and be your God and tell Him that you beleive in Him and beleive that Jesus is God and you want Him to come into your life and be in charge!

Because everywhere you look you see God's handiwork. It's just that you refuse to believe that God created everything in the universe and man is not their own god or does not actually "control" things that are beyond their own comprehension. and Real isn't just want you see it's also what you know. Even common sense tells you that SOMETHING or SOMEONE created the universe with a grand design. You cannot prove FEELINGS exist because feelings are not tangible. Feelings come from the human soul and unlike your body your soul is just as real only HIDDEN from view.

It is the EFFECTS of God we see as real. Everything that has life in it comes from a life giving God.

Can you create a human being from the dirt of the ground and breathe life into it and call it a living soul?

YOU ARE THE GREATEST PROOF THAT GOD EXISTS!

Study the human body and then come and tell me that it all just "happened" in the most perfect and complicated way without intelligent design.

I think God is real. Because some people when in times in trouble they call for God and some instances something good happen. Some cancer patients do live. For me when I ve got most likely bite by a dog I called for God and also when I have nightmares that's why I believe God is somewhere seeing us.
