Because we today can not even understand 100% how they were built, especially since they were built in a time where human technology was so limited that cultures from around the world had no contact with each other.
That being said pyramids are found to have been built by different civilizations that were on separate continents. This leads people to ask the question, Why would two completely different civilizations who had never made contact with each other be building these megalithic structures and how are they doing this and how are they able to line them up with certain stars such as Orions belt. It's said that the pyramid of Giza was built in 22 years, the math was that in order to achieve that each stone would have be cut and put into place every nine seconds.

The pyramids are big and spectacular, and it is natural to wonder if they were built by slaves and speculate that the Israelite slaves might have been involved. Such speculation can lead to outright claims of involvement, but neither The Bible nor Archaeology provides any support for such claims. Biblical references to Israelite slaves building something refer to building cities and making mud bricks.
