Why do people save things like used wheatback pennies Wouldn't you need a ton of them to make a reasonable profit Even then a dealer will give you less money for them since he needs to make a profit.?

WRONG!! Good question. Some people hope to find the one rare gem that pays their mortgage, while others want a complete set, and others are just plain hoarders. There are probably as many reasons as there are people who do it.
