I have asked many people if there is some sort of cult or religious practice that involves dolphin worship. To my dislike it always ends in a stupid argument that nobody can win. This is probobly because no one knows the correct answer. Please help me find a suitable answer for this question

You may have heard or read something about how interested people in general are in the welfare of dolphins. People might cynically refer to that as 'worship'. The attached is a brief essay by someone who is concerned about this 'devotion' to dolphins by people who really don't know much about Biology or marine biology. So people don't worship dolphins in the sense that some worship a deity. It refers to the extreme interest some people have in them. They are certainly beautiful and intelligent; apparently we are missing the rest of the story. There is crude language in some of the comments following the brief essay.
