Earth is not a perfect sphere; it is slightly wider across the equator than it is from pole to pole, but that difference is less than a percent of Earth's average diameter, too small for the human eye to notice.
The Celestial Globe (or sphere) is an imaginary sphere around our planet, earth. All objects in the sky and space, such as satellites, can be thought inside this invisible sphere.
We are on the Earth's surface. To be in the Earth we would have to be underground. Although it doesn't look as if we are in space, the very thin blue sphere around Earth is our atmosphere. To enter space we would go through that atmosphere. :D
earth's shape is influenced by gravity because gravity will pull the objects in space together forming a sphere
Its the very upper layer of the Earth's atmosphere right below the exosphere which is essentially space.
These are imaginary locations in the sky. The "celestial sphere" is a blanket term for everything beyond the Earth. The celestial equator is the plane of the Earth's equator extended out into space. The "celestial poles" are extensions of the north pole and south pole into space. It's sometimes convenient to describe objects out in space with reference to terrestrial coordinates.
a perfect sphere
Sphere shaped
it is a sphere that is flat from top and bottom space is filled of vacum so in space things fly and there is no oxygen
It's hard to argue it's not a sphere when you've got pictures taken from space showing that it IS a sphere.
The shape of the earth is perceived as being a sphere as one travels away from it in space. As the distance increases, the sphere diminishes in perception towards becoming a single point. At still greater distances, the earth is invisible.

Space was innitialy sphere.
The earth isn't perfectly spherical... It is slightly elliptic due to the gravitational pulls and it's rotational axes, but otherwise it is known that the shape of the earth is a sphere by photographs and measurements of the planet from outer space.

They are called Space Probes.
The earth is approximately a sphere (round like a ball). From any direction, its outline will be a circle.
