Why do smaller pumpkins have more pumpkin seeds than larger pumpkins?

smaller pumkins have more seeds because it will take less time to grow smaller pumkins and the rest of the days will be used to make more seeds will big pumkins will take more of its days before its day to be harvest to make it to its full size and it will less days to make seeds

To my accuracy I know and think pumpkins grow so big because they have the strongest roots out off all vegtables growing by hand. Pumpkins also have many seeds that causes the pumpkin to create larger room.

We just did a science investigation in my grade 2/3 class and wanted to know the answer to this question. What we found out was that larger pumpkins do not always have more seeds than smaller pumpkins. Some of our smaller pumpkins packed in more seeds than the larger ones. We concluded that size does not matter for searching for the greatest number of seeds in a pumpkin.
