Sharks are not concerned about species loyalty, they just eat what they can. by: david6023
not only that. a shark needs 2 eat wat it cans like as david said but sum times sharks mistake it as food. then wen 1 shark bites and rips the shark another shark comes in for the kill. (because sharks go crazy wen they smell blood) then another and another. by: richlee2000
Sharks do not attack humans for the sole purpose of hunger. In fact, sharks do not know what the feeling of hunger is, and in fact, can go for many months without eating. This is not to say that sharks do not attack with the intention of seeking prey. Many attacks on divers and surfers especially can be attained to searching for food. To a shark, a surfer on a surfboard slightly resembles that of a seal or sea lion, or a diver in a black wetsuit can look like other prey.
Sharks also attack humans because they have been provoked or agitated by the person. Many spear-fishers have been attacked by reef sharks because when they spear fish, the blood from the fish and it's vibrations can sometimes result in a feeding frenzy by many sharks. Bright colours can also be counted for attacks.
As many people have believed in the past, sharks do in fact can see colours, and do indeed have very good eyesight. Avoid wearing the colours of orange and yellow, as this can aggravate the shark, and possibly lead to attacks.
Sharks are in fact attracted by splashing and vibrations in the water, and it can sometimes be attributed to attacks. Most scientists have not been able to predict why and where sharks attacks.
Because they don't get indigestion.
sry but that's a lie. i don't know how 2 answer that question because the real answer would b they don't. don't believe me? check out sharksavers.com!
They simply do it for food, to be blunt. The same way we eat animals, I know we (well most of us humans anyway) don't eat other animals but sometimes it is just in their natural behaviour to eat other sharks or they have no other food. then it starts a shark cannibalism frenzy
Sharks will eat almost anything in the ocean .They do this in order to survive, food is important part of surviving.
Because seals have blood and its good practise chewing it because it has thick skin.
because have lots of blubber (fat) which is good for the shark, and, because seals taste REALLY good to a shark.

A Marine Mammalogist is someone who studies Marine Mammals.(Whales, Dolphins, Seals, Sharks, etc.,)
are you actually kidding me????????
Seals are carnivores; therefore they don't eat plants. It eats a variety of prey; fish, shellfish, squid, octopus, and other crustaceans. They are oportunistic feeders. Leopard seals feed on penguin and other seals, as they are much larger than the normal seal. Sharks, polar bears, and killer whales all eat seals. I hope this helped (: ~iNeedHelp1909 (Sophie)
