LG's line of TV's, know as Cinema 3D, can have differences in brightness between the models. As they are LED backlit, some sizes have a higher concentration of LED lamps for their size, therefore they appear brighter. In addition, LEDs will lose their brightness over time, so older sets will appear slightly dimmer than new ones after a long time. The average lifespan of the LED's used in LG sets is 40,000 hours. At this point (4.5 years of continual use, 24 hours a day), one half will be half as bright as when they were new. This is known as the LED half life and is the projected end of life for the LED.
"Light boost" is the name of the technique used by LG to recover some of the brightness lost by the polarising filter they use in their 3D televisions.
Because some are larger than others and some are closer than others.
Three possibilities: It is brighter (some are brighter than others), it is bigger, or it is closer to earth.
'Appear' would become 'appeared' in the past tense so the sentence would simply be 'some stars appeared to be brighter than others'.
In absolute terms, some are brighter than our Sun - in some rare cases, millions of times brighter - while others are much less bright than our Sun.
No it is not. It is less bright than some, but brighter than others.
Some stars make more nuclear fusion, or just have more energy.
Some are closer than others and some have more power and brightness.
that's because some stars are closer to the earth; another reason is that some stars get more sunlight than others; another reason IS that the star might not have that much enregy
They are different sizes and distances from us, and so they reflect different amounts of light.
