Why are women becoming lesbians?

People do not chose to become lesbians- this is just how they are. People generally realise they are gay or not in their teenage years. It is not wrong to be a lesbian or gay, and they should be treated the same as anyone else. Being gay can cause you to become alienated, but this is not fair- they should be treated the same as you and me!

There have always been lesbians. Socially now and a more libral country, more and more women feel 'aloud' the be themselves. Since they were born this way, it's not that they are becoming lesbian, it's that they're more accepted than previously.

Girls don't 'choose' to be a lesbian!

Neither do boys 'choose' to be gay. Sexuality is very complicated, and requires you to step outside of the box.

As a Christian I was originally against all homosexuals thinking they had problems. But as it so happens, I realised I was bisexual and more attracted to the same sex!

You might ask yourself, why do some many people hate them if it's 'apparently' normal?

Lots of people who are openly hateful towards people who aren't heterosexual, are most likely experiencing some sort of same sex attraction themselves. Trust me. I'm speaking from experience!!! It's hard to accept yourself when the environment around you is so heavily against same sex attraction, so it's easier for them to pretend to hate it (but it does so much damage on the inside).

Just remember if someone comes out as same sex attracted. Don't be horrible to them.. Even if you think differently. Just smile, if needed tell them everything will be okay, and tell them that you accept them for who they are. By doing that you could potentially be saving them from killing themselves :)

These girls are already gay so they don't turn gay but I grant you there are some who pretend to be gay to attract men.

Are women doing anything wrong? because far too many men are gay- works both ways.

There's a very pretty girl at my law school she looks like a cross between Jodie Foster and Kate Hudson and she's a lesbian- I'm pretty proud of her actually because it shows lesbians can be good looking- as usually people assume they are all ugly which is why they are lesbians.

I think too many men are gay so I'm wondering what I'm doing that's so wrong? I don't really care to be honest-plenty more fish in the sea- but lets hope a fish called Wentworth isn;t one of them- because thats one irreplaceable fish.

Because some women are born lesbians, although most are born heterosexuals. The same way some men are born homosexual, although most men are born heterosexuals.
