Are you using the word discipline to mean following rules and orders, or do you mean discipline to represent punishment for failing to perform an action?
Discipline as it pertains to punishment such as an officer was "disciplined" for using excessive force is used to encourage correct behavior. If an officer is reprimanded or is suspended from duty, it is an effort to apply corrective action. If an officer is fired, it is likely that any kind of corrective action will be useless and the officer must be removed from public service.
Generally, re-training in the area of failure such as driving, public relations, firearm handling etc, are part of the discipline to ensure correct behavior and action.
because if someone is in danger than you need to discipline them othere wise theyy would get away with it and thats not faire on the person who is injured .

The police can do something but you may have to contact them again and tell them you would like to press charges. The school discipline has nothing to do with police discipline. I did not know schools have a special police force what a stupid question.
Yes you need to pass the P.T. test to be a police officer.
