Why do they use only white and yellow paint on roadways? |

Answer
Several reasons.
Lowest cost colors. Longest lasting colors. Very visible under most conditions. Other colors would more likeyl confuse or not been seen by people who are color blind. While they may not see the difference between white and yellow, at least they don't blend into the road surface as red, blue or green definately would.
