When an irritant contacts the nasal mucosa , trigeminal nerve provides the effect limb for impulses to the pons, and Preganglionic efferent fibres leave these latter two structures via the intermediate nerve, through geniculate ganglion to the greater petrosal nerve, through the vividian nerve and then synapse at the sphenopalatine ganglion. The sneeze clears the nose and head and injects(oxygen) into the cells of the body, provoking much the same physiological body functions cease. Tremendous stress is put on the body by the sneeze, especially the eyes.

Hope this helps

When you sneeze air is coming out of your lungs at 100 mph. This is so powerful that it may cause your wind pipe to vibrate as if you were yelling.

Sometimes people can't help how they sneeze. It's an involuntary action in most cases. However, people can leave the room or at least cover their noses in an attempt to mask the noise.

Can you sneeze and not blink?

The fact is you can go search every where and ask any one but blinking your eyes while you sneeze is a natural body reaction. When you see a bright light you sneeze and your eyes close so that they can shut longer than when you blink so you won't hurt your eyes . As much as you try not to blink you cant because when you sneeze your entire body shuts down for that time so your eyes close as well. Another reason why you naturally blink when you sneeze is that if you did not blink while sneezing, your eyes would pop out.
