We don't know for sure that some form of life doesn't exist on the other planets in our solar system. But Earth, for sure, has been an ideal place for life as we know it to exist. Moderate temperature ranges, plenty of liquid water, magnetosphere protection from the solar winds, properly balanced protective atmosphere--all contributing factors to life creation and sustenance.

The lack of atmosphere and water on other planets, along with surface temperatures that are either extremely below zero or exceedingly hot, means that life (as we know it) cannot survive.

One reason NASA has concentrated on finding out if there are ice crystals on planets is so the researchers can determine if water existed--at one time--on other planets. Just like our water can hold one-cell organisms, scientists hope to find one-cell organisms or remnants of life in the frozen ice on other planets. While there have been some hopeful results, none has concluded that any life ever existed on the planets NASA has investigated.
That we know of ...

Liquid water.

Because most other planets are too extreme to support human life. Earth has water and vegetation, essential to human life.

We on earth because we are part of the earths formations. The question and answer above assumes we are separate entitities placed on earth instead of assuming we grow from the earth. Our composition is of earth elements. We may not be rooted into the ground like a plant but we are still eartlings.

Other planets will produce from their own composition , and this may not necessarily take the same forms as earthlings.

It is better to say that no known life exists on other planets. Other planets beyond our solar system may have life, but we don't know enough about them yet. Life as we know it depends on liquid water. All the other planets are wither too hot or too cold. Earth is the only planet that is the right temperature.

The answer is quite simple as your taught it every time you go into a grade. Like school. But to state it simply. It is because other planets like Mercury, mars, venus, and saturn are filled with toxic gases. Uranus,Neptune,Plute, etc are to cold and have gases too. Earth has life because it has oxygen and Co2, trees and plants which put off oxygen.

Most scientists accept the possibility life exists elsewhere. This belief fueled search for life on Mars, which has so far turned up nothing. There are other places in our solar system that might harbor life, such as the clouds of Venus or beneath the surface of some Jovian moon.

In addition, we know of thousands of other worlds, many of which orbit in the habitable zones around their stars. Life could easily flourish in other places besides earth.

It isn't known for sure that Earth is the only planet with life. There are probably billions of stars in our own galaxy, and billions of galaxies in the observable Universe; only about a thousand of such planets have actually been observed, and much isn't known about most of them, except for the eight planets in our Solar System. In fact, given the huge amount of planets in the Universe, it seems (to me, at least) very likely that Earth is NOT the only planet with life. However, since not all the details are known on how life originates, it might also be possible that life originating on a planet is a very unlikely event; in that case, the answer to your question would be related to the anthropic principle.

God created only this Earth with all the necessities for life. Various organizations are wasting hundreds of billions of dollars in searching for life elsewhere; money that could be better spent in other endeavors.

Earth's atmosphere is able to sustain life. The reason as to why life exists, is up to the life living it.

There are many theories about how life started on Earth. According to relegion, God created life. Scientifically, there are many other theories that are supported through experiments.

Well, we have light, the sun, water, the atmosphere, and climate. Without even one of those five things, life on Earth wouldn't be possible.

Are there any other planets that sustain life?

So far, earth is the only planet known to support life, but many scientists thing that life probably exists on other planets.

Is there life on other planets except on earth?

We do not know. So far, organic molecules have been located on planets and in distant stars, but this is not proof that organic life exists there.

Liquid water

Can life exists on other planet then earth?

So far as is known to date there is no life on any other planet in our solar system or elsewhere. That does not rule out the possibility that life may exist on other planets

Is there life in other planets?

We cannot say if life exists on other planets or not. We are trying to work it out.Just because there is no evidence does not mean that there is no life on other planets. We are trying to work out the answer but the answer maybe, YES.
