For Easter, there are the eastern and the western Christians and each have different dates because long time ago people either counted the days by looking at the sun or by looking at the moon. So, one group counted on the sun and the other group counted on the moon which made the dates different many times. it is also the reason why sometimes both groups celebrate Easter on the same day.
