No, if I were you, I'd go see a doctor as soon as possible. It isn't usually normal for a healty woman not to have a period. Well I personally had my tubes tied in June of 2005 and just had my first "REAL" period last week January 16, 2006, so yes it is possible and I was not pregnant and still am not pregnant. I had my tubes burned. if you were breast feeding then you have a good chance of not getting one for a while.
After having a tubal ligation procedure you will still menstruate. There are also no hormonal changes when you have the tubal ligation procedure.
I had a tubal ligation a year ago after ther birth of my son and all my periods were normal upon until now, i missed to menustral periods, could this be a sign of cnacer?
Because you still have a functional uterus and functional ovaries. The ligation only stops the ova from entering the uterus.
This is not normal. Most of tje time this means ou may be pregnate. I recomend you go get tested og drink lots of green tea to make it come back(it may be a false alarm)
It is common, whether or not you had a tubal ligation, to miss a couple of periods now and then if you are stressed or depending on your age. Women have begun premature menopause as early as 28. If you are uncertain, get checked. If you don't think you have the money, a nurse practitioner at your local health department may examine you for free.
Possibly early signs of menopause. Talk to your doctor if you have concerns. All we can do here is guess with you.
yes definately!
When you are just beginning to get periods (first few years) you may miss a few. It is completely normal. The only other thing is, if you miss periods, you could be pregnant (if you have had sex obviously!) If you havent, its normal
If a women is pregnant than she will miss all of her periods, until she gives birth. then she will have a period every 28 days like normal
don't worry your periods are just irregular. its completely normal.
It can take months for your periods get back to normal, especially if you are breast feeding you can miss periods or have long times between them. You can still get pregnant while breast feeding and having irregular periods though so you should still use contraception.
I had a tubal ligation in 1999. And my periods stay regular. So if you haven't got your period. I would call my Doctor and have myself checked. Because with my experience that isn't normal. Your periods are controlled by your ovaries secreting hormones directly into your bloodstream, nothing to do with your tubes. So your periods should remain absolutely normal.
Amenorrhea is the word used for the absence or the abnormal stopping of menses. A female must miss three periods in a row for it to be considered amenorrhea.
Yes, this is completely normal. Irregular periods are normal within your teens as it takes time for your body to get into a regular pattern of ovulation, and thus into a regular pattern of menstruation.
Yes, very normal...girls are usually all over the place and ireggular the fist year or two so dont worry!
If you have heavy vaginal bleeding after the first day post-surgery, you should tell your doctor. You should also tell him if you miss your period. Though it seems that bleeding for long periods of time after tubal ligation surgery, it should not be accompanied with fever, nausea, and pain. This can be an indication of infection, in which case antibiotics are necessary. Ignoring treatment for an infection can lead to permanent and serious complications. You should only bleed lightly for less than a week post surgery, and without the other symptoms listed above. The pain should only be associated with either gas (in shoulder, abdomen), which resolves on its own after about 2-3 days or less, or directly from the surgical wounds. If the pain radiates and/or you have a fever and/or you can feel heat, with or without bleeding, this may be a sign of infection. You should raise any concern about post surgery symptoms with your doctor. Your doctor will want to evaluate it and determine the cause and/or treatment.
