The fizz from soda comes from dissolved carbon dioxide. In the closed bottle, the carbon dioxide is in a state called equilibrium. That means the carbon dioxide is constantly moving from dissolved form to gas form and vice versa. The temperature of the drink determines how much is in the gas state and how much is dissolved. If the soda is cold, there is more carbon dioxide in dissolved form than in gas form. However, if you let the soda heat up, more of it escapes out of the liquid and into gas form at the top of the bottle, causing the drink to go flat. Therefore it is best to keep soda in the fridge, so that when you come to drink it, more fizz will be left in the liquid!
To keep the drink cool if you can not finish it. However soda (or soft drinks) are carbonated, and will therefore become flat in time if the cap is not put on.
You may be thinking about sodium bicarbonate (bicarb soda). An open packet of sodium bicarbonate is kept in the fridge to keep odours away.
Because it tastes better that way. There is no other real reason people refrigerate pop. Other than that it's fine as long as you don't put a coke can in extreme heat, which would cause the can to expand and possible explode.
It's not the refrigeration that keeps them fizzy, but rather the sealed lid on the can or bottle. You can keep an unopened coke in your garage for a month then drink it and it'll fizz. Likewise, if you open a bottle then close it back and put it in the fridge, it'll be noticeably flatter in a day. You can't close it as tightly as the machines in the factories do, and once it is opened there is more air inside. When the carbonic acid in the coke has the chance to react with the air around it, it starts to lose its carbonation.
It doesn't necessarily have to be put in the fridge. Some people would prefer not to have warm soda.
because it will make soda botttle get expired
It doesn't matter. You will not have any fizz if opened but you should refrigerate it because hot soda will eat away your teeth. ... and so will cold soda!
Becauses are more soluble at lower temperatures (opposite of solids like sugar and salt) to keep soda carbonated (carbon dioxide gas dissolved in soda) is should be stored cold like in the refrigerator.
Cold is fizzier
yes! but i do not know how they get cold! do you-
because the refrigerator is cold
Real cold
Soda
You can find soda(pop) in the Treeton Food Store. Not the General store. LilJackrabbit-Dun Server
Coke?
Yes, baking soda stores well in plastic containers. But the containers need to be air tight. They should also be opaque to block out light.
This is because the fridge is cold, and this cold makes the outside of the can cold. Objects get col from the outside, in. Unlike heat, which warms objects from the inside, out,
Yes.
