When waking up the next morning after having dinner the previous night you may be hungry because over night eventhough you are sleeping and not moving you still burn calories and it uses up lots of energy to do so, and because your body always needs energy it will need more food to burn more calories so you wake up hungry. The hunger is a signal like your body saying 'I need more food and energy for the day' and thus you are hungry. I hope that makes sense.

∙ 15y agoThey probably haven't eaten the night before, so when they wake up, they are hungry, or they have been thinking about a certain food all night, and when they wake up, they suddenly remember and want to have that food.

∙ 12y agoIts because youve eaten and then for roughly 8-10 hours you havnt eaten or drank anything at all the food still is absorbed ecxacly the same as in the day but havnt nothing for all them hours plays with your stomach and makes you feel.extremley hungry
