Because som of them feel insecure with a younger woman because they must be and I'm sorry to say this,moma's boys,and are looking for a more mature woman.
To add to this: its my opinion that young men like older women because they somehow have a belief that they are more sexually available(which is really not true), or that they can help them financially. Though i find its more the case of younger women wanting older men to help them financially. I also think that sometimes when a young man like an older women is because he feels that she is less of a game player. at least that's what a lot the young men have said.

Another perspective:In may case, I married my wife who is three years older than I, because she was mature and my best friend. I've never been able to communicate so well with anyone else.
