This problem was actually addressed on the Firefox website. View the Related Link below for the full story. Basically, you need to try to run Firefox in safe mode, as a plug-in or add-on may be the cause of the Javascript not working on WikiAnswers, even if Javascript is enabled. This is a probable, and the most likely, cause to your problem.

Cookie Monster his nice. He teaches kids to share by sharing his cookies, even though he really really loves cookies.
It's because the cookies absorb moisture in the air. The air, even though we can't see it, actually contains water vapour which can be absorbed by the cookies. Because of that, the cookies get moist when they're left out in open air for too long.
Whoa! Cookies aren't viruses, they are pretty harmless and, even after you delete, they will come back as you surf the web, so you'll keep finding them. That's normal. You can control cookies through your browser. In IE7, click on: 'Tools' > 'Options' > 'Privacy' > 'Advanced' Allow First-party cookies and block Third-party cookies. First-party cookies are set by the web site you are actually visiting and some won't work without cookies enabled. Third-party cookies are set by e.g. advertisers on that web site, these are the ones you particularly don't want. You could set First-party cookies to 'prompt' but you'll probably find it annoying after a short while. If you're using Firefox, click on: Tools > Options > Privacy Accept first-party cookies, don't accept third-party ones, keep until you close Firefox and select to clear private data when you close Firefox. If you use SpywareBlaster it will ban cookies (and ActiveX) from known bad sites: http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareb... GET AN ANTI-VIRUS PROGRAM, e.g. Avast *free*: http://www.avast.com/eng/avast-compare-h... Spyware IS NOT "pretty harmless" ....just because you personally don't mind being tracked and spied on by EVERY type of buisness out there including the buisnesses in ALL other countries as well, doesn't mean you should be telling others that cookies are pretty harmless. Cookies are only pretty harmless when concerning the isssue of them not acting like a virus, thus they are pretty harmless to the proper working condition of your pc/laptop and its operating system.

Even when uninstalled or deleted, Mozilla Firefox will leave your bookmarks behind. They will still be there if you reinstall it.
Browse the web in a browser made by Google. Even though some say Google Chrome's the fastest other browsers are miles faster such as IE9 (NOT IE8) or Firefox.
