It sounds like you might have an overfuel problem. Check your air filter for dirt it might be plugged or your choke might be stuck.

First, if you have a check engine light then have a shop scan for codes. That will tell you what is wrong. If it is bad then it will stall, hesitate, and blow out black smoke.
If the coolant reservoir is low or empty, I would say you have a bad head gasket.
