In the Disney adaptation, Peter Pan's ensemble represents a sort of forest/nature theme. He wears a jagged green tunic that is that is cinched at the waist with a belt and dagger. His legs are covered in dark green tights. His shoes are a brown leather of sorts that represents a peasant's shoes of the Medieval times. Finally, his hat is a dark green of colour with a red feather pierced through the side.

This isn't confirmed anywhere, but this is only my guess (and the most logical one.)
