Why does a car with auto vibrate at cruise speed and makes griping sounds when you bring car to full stop engine is still running then you can travel for few miles before it occurs again?

Have your cars transmission checked and flushed if oil is dirty brown. Trans can slip making this sound. Also check tyre balance and have a torque convertor test. Also consider the surface the vehicle may be running on, this can cause also cause heavy noise and vibrations.
