One way to get a disc unstuck from a 6 disc changer is to try to hit eject while the car is off. This sometimes forces the disc to eject.
I've had that happen to my Isuzu Ascender. The thing that worked for me was turn car off and remove key find the fuse to the radio/CD player and pull it out turn car on for a second (radio & CD player will not turn on at all because the fuse is out) put the fuse back in turn car on- hopefully you can eject the CD now.
Couldn't tell you why, but I can tell you how to fix it. Unplug the negative terminal on the battery (make sure the car is off) and let it sit for 5-10 minutes before re-plugging it. This will reset the radio and eject any CD that is in the CD player.
If you need to know in order to get out a CD that wont eject, let me save you some time. All you have to do is pop the hood and unplug the negative connection from the battery (make sure the car is off), wait 5-10 minutes then re-plug it. This will reset the CD player and eject whatever CD is in it. This is a common problem among Nissan Pathfinders.
After starting the car and turning the car off, remove the radio fuses. there are 2 of them ( I believe they are #7 and #31 refer to your manual). Start your car for a second your radio won't come on cause the fuses are pulled, turn the car right off , put the fuses back in. Start the car. The radio will initialize, let it cycle thru, then it should work.
When this happened to me, the MDX gave me a "ErE1" error message (or something close to that). Your next step is to "reboot" the car by leaving the positive battery terminal disconnected for a minute. But you must have your 5 digit security code to make the player work after the power off. One time this fix worked for a few weeks. Then the player failed again, so we are going to replace the player. But with several reboots I was able to eject the CDs that were eaten by the old player. I needed narrow tweezers for one retrieval.
Turn the car off, and restart. After restarting push the eject button. Should come out. Works every time for me.
Assumptions: * You are trying to do this on a front loading "slot" type DVD player * The DVD player does not have a small "pinhole" on the front which would normally be used for manually ejecting discs. * The DVD player is a type that will eject discs if it can not read them for any reason. I was able to get my DVD out by: # Shut off the DVD player # Carefully slide a piece of thick paper (postcard thickness) as far into the DVD slot as you can. It will probably go in only a couple inches max. # Turn on the DVD player # Wait about 20 - 30 seconds. The DVD player should have trouble reading the disc because it is not spinning, thus it will report an error and eject the disc. # If this doesn't work, odds are you don't have the paper in far enough so you are not preventing it from spinning. There is no guarantee that this process won't harm your DVD player and/or disc so attempt at your own risk. I can tell you that I've done this several times without damage to either.

You can if the CD player operates off 12 Volts DC. But, if it is a home CD player that runs off of 110 Volts AC then no, it will not work off a car battery. These are two different types of voltage.
Turn off radio and eject on cassette player. Then press seek rev for hours and seek fwd for minutes.
It is possible that the pack needs to be reset. Shut it off for about 20 minutes and let it start up again.
