I think that you should talk about your feelings with your mom and tell her that you get really sad by her behavior. If it doesn't work try to impress your mom by doing extra chores or plain chores or just try to make her feel happy!

- She may be tired or not feeling well.
- She may be worried about something that has noting to do with you, but you are handy.
- She may be frustrated; moms have a lot of responsibilities and her best efforts don't always turn out well. It is not your responsibility, but you are handy.
- Someone may have hurt her, disappointed her, upset her, let her down; someone other than you, but you are handy.
- Sometimes all of the above are going on at once and all you need to do for her to yell at you is make a simple mistake or forget something. You didn't do all of the things that upset her, but you are handy.
- Moms worry about their responsibility for your care and worry about something happening to you that they can't control, this is not your fault but it may seem that she is mad at you.
- These are not the only ways moms can get mean but the most common. If you pay some attention to what happens with your mom, you may be able to figure out what it is that made her seem so mean.
