It could be that your alternator is no longer putting out enough charge to handle the load of the AC running. Some auto parts stores offer free bench testing of alternators and some can even test it while it is still attached to your car. I would recommend getting it tested. Also, someone may have replaced the alternator in the past with a lower amperage than is required for a vehicle with air conditioning. Hope this is helpful!
how come when we turn on ac the belts slow down. It takes horse power to operate the ac compressor and the vehicles ECM (engine control module) will compensate for that. If the vehicles charging system and ac system is in good working order it will not drain the battery or effect the idle.
Yes, very, very, quickly. The Starter Motor has a very high operating current, that will drain even the heaviest duty battery, fairly quickly, if an engine fails to start.
Where is ac drain on 95 dodge ram
No, a bad coil will not drain the battery.
No because when you turn of the ignition it turns of as well. However I had a problem like that once and found that it is wise to have the AC of when you start the car. also it pays to check the battery conections whe you start runing short of power when constantly runing the AC.

Where is the ac drain tube for 2004 grand prix
You're describing a common problem. Many times a relay, such as the AC relay, will fail to turn off when the key is off. When that happens the device controlled by the relay, such as the AC clutch, will remain engaged and drain the battery.
