It doesn't. That happens to some people due to poor methods of smoking. When you roll a joint, put a filter in it (look up RAW filter tips). You can do the same if you prefer blunts, bluntwraps, cigarillos, etc. I use to smoke alot of those and they turned my lips black, but now thanks to filters they are normal & red.
I also do mostly glass (bongs, steamroller, pipes etc) and joints 2nd. Tobacco isn't healthy like cannabis, so mixing isn't really the best idea all the time, although a bluntwrap here or there won't hurt

it's not so easy, but i have some tips for you guys..... 1) the most important thing is to stop or reduce the smoking. 2) take lemon, and allow some juice of it to lips, massage it gently. it will work if you do that some days.. 3) take rose water, mix sugar in it, and then apply it to your lips, believe me this very very good procedure to get rid from black lips..... also maybe you people will find a lot of procedure for it in internet

actually, from first hand experience, it actually will make you pass a drug test. i get tested once a year and everytime i stop approximately 15 days before the test and i play some basketball to sweat, drink plentttyy of water (do not drink the day of the test because then it will look like you tried to dilude your piss) and smoke 2 black n milds the day of and one about 45 minutes before the test and you will pass like that =) believe me ive done it every year for 3 years and its worked everytime. i even have to go to a toxicology lab. so everyone who says its not possible obviously hasnt tried it and are just basing their info on their beliefs, not experiences.
