There is the "Ohm" (which looks like a 3 conntected to an o with a small u above the o and a diamond just above the u) which represents the universe and the ultimate reality. There is the swastika (which was later stolen by the Nazi's so it is now considered disrespectful) it represents purity of the soul, truth, and stability. The direction it faces depends on whether it is being used to show the evolution of the involution of the universe. There is also the Sri Chakra Yantra which is a mandala formed by nine interlocking triangles. Four of these triangles are oriented upright representing Shiva (the Masculine). Five of these triangles are inverted triangles represent Shakti (the Feminine). Together the nine triangles form a web symbolic of the entire cosmos, a womb symbolic of creation and together express Advaita Vedanta or non-duality.
