Working at McDonalds looks good on a resume because they drill essential values to you.
Working there you must be friendly, efficient, team player, a good listener, and be able to keep at a fast pace for long periods of time.
At McDonalds life is always go, go, go there is no standing around. If times aren't right, and the restaurant isn't clean you will get in trouble.
I know cause I have worked there for a year and I love it, but trust me I work harder than I have at any other job. People think McDonalds is an easy job suitable for low IQ but it isn't if you want to get promoted or keep your job. It is much more a place for hard working students trying to save for university. It works for us because the shifts are so flexible.
That us why it looks so good is because any employer who is smart will realize that this person applying is someone who already knows how to work hard and therefore will work hard for our company.
