Look at 2 things. Replace the air filter ASAP. Check to make sure the air intake before the filter is not clogged. Also check the exhaust system and see if you have a bent pipe somewhere. A clogged catalytic converter is another possibility.
the iac is part of the throttle body..If your car dies when you turn the ac on, you need to clean your throttle body with some cleaner. Sounds far fetched, but this will solve the problem
Sounds like it is flooding out. Try idling your carburetor up. unless it is fuel injected. also use some carburetor cleaner, or throttle body and injection cleaner if its fuel injected.
It sounds like you need to clean the throttle body. Remove the air cleaner amd get some carb/throttle body cleaner. Hold the throttle plate open and spray the cleaner on the plate and around the throttle body where the throttle plate closes. Wipe this gunk out with a clean rag. ( this will be a black ring) This ring of dirt and carbon does away with the minmum idle air and causes the engine to die. Cleaning will restore the idle air. Caution! This cleaner is caustic dont get in your eyes and if you get it on your hads wash then quickly. RT
you need to clean the throttle body...sounds crazy but it worked on my 04...everytime we would turn on the ac or defrost the engine would want to stall out,,,but if the floor heat was selected it would run fine....buy a can of throttle body cleaner and spay a rag with the cleaner and wipe down the butterfly on the throttle body DON"T SPRAY DIRECTLY INTO THROTTLE BODY!...MAKE IT AS CLEAN AS POSSIBLE...it'll take about 10 mins start to finish and you"ll be amazed that it worked.
it sounds like your ISC is coked up. get a can of throttle body cleaner and clean your throttle body. Do NOT get throttle body/carb cleaner on the ISC. If you do, it will get in and destroy the coils on the inside and that may in turn fry your ECU. To check if it is your ISC, there is an analogue idle screw that will rev up your RPM. If this fixes it, do NOT leave the screw in that position. It's bad for your car. It means you need to either A. clean the throttle body out more or B. get a new ISC.
An Open Chest Wound (Sucking Chest Wound)
Sounds like the throttle sensor, throttle body needs to be replaced.
Sounds like it may have been replaced at one point with an inferior piece.
sounds like electric fan failure
sounds like a gross form of oral sexual innuendo
i believe not 100% but sounds like a jeep 4.0 liter throttle body and probably 1992 or around there.
I would say your throttle cable is snaped by the sounds of it best off 2 just buy a new throttle and cable ....
