Your shift linkage is loose or in need of adjustment, another possibility is that the gears are worn inside but it is unlikelyAnother possibility is your flex plate could be worn and may need to be replaced. This has happened to me on several different occasions.
whats wrong if my car wont shift to the next gear automaticly when its driving
a possibility would be the clutch is going out.
Push the car with the clutch in, right? 2nd gear for smooth and 1st gear for most people!
no, but the car should explode if started in gear. ALWAYS START IN NEUTRAL!!!!!
That would be your transmission. It may be slipping, or you may be lossing a gear. Have it checked.
change the map sensor
It is not possible unless you are driving a very very old car. The reverse gear is mechanically blocked by a synchronizer to prevent exactly this kind of thing.
Cooling fan clutch could be seized.
When you are driving a car with a manual transmission, you do not move at the normal, rapid speed of driving until you have shifted into 3rd gear. So metaphorically, you can say that to do something with a suitable speed involves getting in gear.
Pop Gear was created in 1965.
Your question doesn't give much detail but the car may not go into gear while you're driving (manual only) because the car's speed and engine speed are not suitable for the gear. E.g. If you're driving at 100km/h (60mph) it could become very difficult to change down to first gear.
Nothing. It will keep on driving. There is a safety on the gear that will not enable it to be activated while in movement. It may destroy your gear though.
