Why does your car use so much gas?

it depends on what kind of car you have. a 4 to 6 cyl should use very little gas . if you have a V8 than its gonna suck up alot depending how you drive. if you drive rough as in always punching the gas or braking hard than its gonna suck up alot of gas. the same goes for 4 and 6 cyl engines.
