The water drain hole outback is probably plugged up an the accumulated water has fermented. Remove the front cover so you can see the cooling coil. You may see the water at he bottom of those fins. Spray a cup of water/clorox mix thru the fins. let it sit for an hour then go find the drain plug and clean it out. Change or clean your filter too. Make sure the ac pan is level or slightly sloped down at the back so the water will flow out.
Not by yourself, and not a window unit at all.
clean it, then spray it with air freshener.
Bleach.
Soak it in a mixture of white vinegar and water.
No easy way of doing this. These units do not come with service valves.
my air conditionel is blowing hot air what i need to do how i put air in my home window conditional
No it's not ! It uses electricity to blow cooler air into a home - the same effect can be achieved by opening a window !
"Yes some women have found that when they are pregnant their urine becomes darker and can smell stronger than usual. There a few potential causes of this. Pregnant women tend to have a greater sense of smell and taste so if they may be able to better smell their own urine, even though it actually hasn't changed. Some women believe that they can smell the hormone that is produced and released into urine. That hormone is called the human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), but it is unknown if women can actually smell the hormone or if they are just smelling stronger urine, or as mentioned above, smelling more of their regular urine. Another reason your urine may smell stronger is because you need more water than you are usually drinking. Pregnancy requires more hydration than you may usually need, not only does the baby need water but the embryonic fluid that surrounds the baby has to some from somewhere. The more water you drink the more water will be released into urine, diluting it and thus reducing the smell. If you drink less water, or require more water due to pregnancy, or even because you are exercising more, then your urine will smell more like ammonia then is may normally. While stronger smelling urine can be a sign of pregnancy, it is not a useful test. Visit your doctor for a blood test, or try a home pregnancy test. Take the home pregnancy test in the morning when the level of hCG is higher in your urine as home pregnancy tests test for this hormone."
If your talking about the air vents it's because that is were the heat enters the home. If your talking about window units it's to allow the condensation to drain and generated heat to discharge
Happening to us, too, with a brand new GE room air conditioner, 5000BTU. Plastic smell is mentioned in the appliance brochure which says the smell can last 2 weeks. But I was worried about toxic fumes so I called GE. The woman told me the smell should last only a couple of hours and that I should take it back. So now we have to take it out of the window, hump it 40 minutes to the store, get another one, hump it home, install it and see if this one is any better. If not, we have to repeat the process. That's GE customer service?! Also, very noisy. I'm looking elsewhere.
This has much to do with how the air conditioner and the heater is vented. If the air conditioner draws its air from outside it could be picking up air / smell of smoke from the other family and then redistributing it into your home. A heater on the other had usually has a heater input vent within the house it is heating (it draws the interior air in and then heats it blowing it back out) as the air within the home will be significantly warmer than the exterior air.
natural acids like vinegar and lime juice works best for me.
