Your motor that drives the laser head BURNED out. I just replaced one in my dad's 2002 Lexus Rx300
You can buy the motor if you are skilled with taking apart multiple layers of electronics and using a solder gun. Or It can be replaced for $250 - for either option you can email: electronictoys@gmail.com
It also could be caused by the DVD Drive PC board which in this case the PC board needs to replaced. To have it repaired you could send your unit to www.hitechserv.com
