The three most likely culprits are a bad fuel pump, a loose or bad crank sensor or cam sensor. Because the problem is intermittent, try the cam or crank sensor first. The cam sensor is behind the Power Steering reservoir and the crank sensor is by the A/C compressor. On the fuel rail to the injectors there is a schraeder valve (similar to the tire valve) that you can check the fuel pump pressure.
Your fuel pump could of quit.are you don't have spark you have to check for ot.
If the engine cranks & cranks & cranks before it starts even though it's warmed up already.
this happened to mine it was to burnt out wires behind the dash
it is easier to pedal with longer cranks because you have more leverage but it is not necessarily better to have really long cranks.
do you mean it cranks, but will not start?
Cranks Creek Lake was created in 1963.
have the cables been checked. same happened to my 87 same problem found it was the orgnial cables needed to be replaced.
No of cranks used in 6 cylinder engine
Have the intake air temp. sensor checked .Two wired plug on top of intake manifold. Check fuel pump pressure.
Check for codes(possible cam sensor), check fuel pressure bleed down(possible fuel pump).
fuel pump could have gone bad , does it have fuel in the tank ?
The lowest you want would probably be a 8. It's whole purpose for retrieve. So give it a couple of cranks in the store and see how smooth the retrieve is.
