Why don't you encourage your student who presented 3 papers national international conferences and 2 publications but a christian who won't write mphil exam which falls on Sunday?

If I understand it correctly, this student who has shown above-average ability and talent refuses to take this exam because it falls on Sunday as they are a Christian, and you don't like it. Tough! What do you expect? This student is obeying what The Bible says by worshipping Him on the one day in the week that is traditionally the Christian day of worship. This student is following the dictates of their conscience by putting God first before secular requirements even if it hurts them in doing so, and God will bless them for this. I assume you are not a real Christian, so you had better swallow your pride and ask this student to pray to God on your behalf for mercy that you are not punished accordingly.
To put it in perspective, would you dare ask a Moslem to sit an exam on Friday, or a Jew to sit on Saturday?
