I think the reson most girls wear "thongs and g-srtings" is to hide pantielines while wearing tight clothing. I also think some or the reason might be a attention grabber to boys. And the reason out of all of these might just be because they look nice and they are comfertable. hope this helps

∙ 7y agoWomen wear thongs (or strings) so the imprints of their panties don't show through. For example, it's not very classy to see panty lines when you're wearing a skin tight dress or skinny jeans.
Of course, thongs look a lot sexier than normal panties and are in some cases used to excite one's partner.
